It’s clear that Spring is on its way with all the blossoming prints on show in Paris. Vika Gazinskaya gave her outfit edge by combining floral prints with a Nike baseball cap and Led Zeppelin tee. There was double leopard print going around which should be totally wrong but was somehow effortlessly pulled off with attitude. And it was like Kew Gardens had come to town with all the floral printed trousers decorating the city. From cropped to flared to neon brights to geometric patterned- there were a patchwork of different looks for all to admire.
Paris certainly draws in some wonderful and unexpected pleasures to Fashion Week. From Hanneli’s giant pants (oh so tastefully worn, may I add) to the dancing hair suit in front of the Eiffel Tower and base jumping kids outside the Rick Owens show- you get everything here in this magical city!
As I mentioned in my last post, Milan Fashion Week was stuffed with ridiculously chic and glamorous signoras. Here are 3 looks I love:
Eleanora looks pretty in pink in her Dsquared dress, shoes and jewellery. The bag is Corto Moltedo and sunnies by Super.
I met the charming Christiane outside the Giorgio Armani show, then bumped into her again, post costume change outside Roberto Cavalli. Here she wears a coat and skirt by Escada, top by Acne, boots by Clautre Chose, hat by Lala Berlin and sunnies by Ralph Lauren.
Natuka is a journalist, stylist and fashion designer- crikey! What a jack of all trades. She wears Maje jacket and trousers, a top designed by herself, Zara shoes, YSL clutch and vintage jewellery.
