Global street style photos by Miyelle Karmi

Month: August, 2012

Gael is a fashion photographer from Dalston. Take a look at his beautiful photographs here. He wears a jumper, trousers and socks by agnès b, shoes by Opening Ceremony and a watch from Muji.

Roberta on Broadway Market

Roberta is a student from Milan and wears the punk-rock look to perfection. She wears a jacket by Band of Outsiders, a Trash Talk t-shirt, shorts by The Lazy Ones, necklace from Italy, rings from Brick Lane and Dr Martens.

Yasu is a fashion writer from Hoxton. He wears jacket and trousers by Raf Simons, vintage shirt, hat by Comme des Fuckdown, Converse trainers.

Sunflowers and Rouge

Helena wears a Lulu Guinness bag, Keds pumps, dungarees and cardigan from Freddie’s of Pinewood, jumper by M&S and sunglasses by Lulu Guinness.

Cartoon critters

This is Cristian, a graphic designer from Barcelona living in London. With a clear penchant for Micky Mouse and friends, Cristian’s cartoon style is playful pop. His moustache is worthy of a gold medal and adds an extra dash of humour. Cristian wears a Lazy Oaf t-shirt, Topman sweats, New Era cap, Reebok Pumps and a Casio watch.

Circles and stripes

Claire is a sculpture student from Brixton. She wears jeans by CBDG, a vintage top, shoes by Trade and round sunglasses from Ebay

Ruben Salas is a visual merchandiser from Madrid. This is a perfect example of an uber simple outfit, worn well. He’s looking so slick, you’d think he was wearing head to toe designer. But he’s fooled us all! He wears an ASOS tee, Zara trousers, vintage GH Bass shoes and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Leopard print and vintage

Kathi is a student from from Berlin. She wears a vintage jumper, coat by Topshop, shirt and t-shirt by H&M, vintage bag and vintage shoes.

Edmund & Rebecca

Edmund and Rebecca are such a polished pair that I had to interrupt their Sunday stroll down Brick Lane to get a photo. I particularly love Rebecca’s chic look with her ankle-swinging-monochrome-print trousers, classic white tee and blazer. But the devil is really in the detail here- check out her Mulberry Lily bag and gorgeous velvet slippers. Rebecca’s bound to look great- she’s the womenswear manager at START London.

Rebecca wears a Topshop blazer, vintage t-shirt, Mulberry Lily bag, Topshop trousers, ASOS slippers and Cutler & Gross sunglasses

Bling and bare it on Brick Lane

Ellis’ glam-trash look may not be something your Grandma would approve of, but it certainly makes a statement. Bling, jewels, studs and talons are worn with an I’m-not-shy attitude that only the super brave can pull off. Ellis is a PR from Seven Sisters and wears a jacket by KTZ, top by Topshop, shorts by Bitching & Junk Food, shoes by Jeffrey Campbell, tiger necklace from Hampstead Heath market and a chain necklace and belt from Forever 21
