Fashion finds

Sebastian looks uber cool in his Yves Saint Laurent jacket and shirt and Maison Martin Margiela waistcoat. While his vintage kilt and specially made shoes add a quirky spin to the look.

Silvia wears denim jacket and leggings from Topshop, top and bag from People Tree, socks from ASOS, ballet shoes by Anniel and vintage sunglasses

I love Silvia's cute touch to her look with these ballet shoes and frilly socks

Yixiao wears blazer by Blondie, shirt and shorts from China, shoes by Kurt Geiger and bag from Africa.

This yellow printed blazer with blue lapels is so much fun - a real attention grabbing piece.

Otherworldly hair

Michele

I discovered Michele and her incredible hair in Regents Park at the weekend. I was dazzled by the shades of silver and lilac glistening in the sun as she gracefully walked through the park like a mystical creature. Michele is a talented jewelery designer and gemmologist. Take a look at her website here to see her designs.

Beautiful day, beautiful people

Red trousers in the park

The sun was shining in London yesterday and all the gorgeous people came out to play. With temperatures higher than than the Mediterranean, it was time for ice cream, lazing in the park and good old fun in the sun.

Miri wears a vintage jumpsuit, customized t-shirt, vintage necklace from Barcelona, bum bag from a market stall and platforms from Topshop.

Black and white in New York

While we’re on the subject of black and white, I thought I’d pick out some of my favourite monochrome looks from New York. The people in this city are so uber cool, they just don’t need to shout about it with colour.

Monochrome Stripes

Skinny stripes in Paris

A black and white striped trouser makes a big, bold statement.  The attention grabbing skinny stripes above are worn with a leather jacket, fur trim and giant platforms to give a youthful rock ‘n roll look. Motel do a great pair for only £48 and you can get them here.

Striped trousers in Milan

These striped kick flare trousers create a chic and modern look put together with a simple charcoal jumper and stiletto heels. Zara do a gorgeous pair of striped palazzo trousers for only £25.99! Definitely a bargain worth grabbing.

Prada SS12 on the street

Fashion doesn’t get more fun that the Prada SS12 collection. The nostalgic 1950s pieces with whimsical references to Cadillacs, hot rodding and golfing make for a beautiful collection with a sense of humour. It’s Grease lighting all the way with the bejewelled bomber jackets and flame motifs – I love it! Here are some photos I took of the collection out on the street at fashion week.

It’s all good in the hood

Denni Elias is snow white in her Yves Saint Laurent cape

There’s nothing like a big, lavish hood to create an air of mystery and err, snuggliness. Here are two examples of gorgeous hoods, perfect for keeping that Parisian Winter chill at bay.
