Global street style photos by Miyelle Karmi

A mention in The Saturday Times

There’s a nice little mention of me in an article in today’s The Times. It’s about how Broadway Market is currently the most fashionable place in Britain and why style bloggers head there to snap the latest trends. The piece features myself as well as Hannah Bodsworth of the blog nicelyturnedout.com and Phil Taylor of  Taylor-Made.

In this glorious weather, the streets of London will be overflowing with stylish people basking in the sun. So I’ll be sure to head to Broadway Market this afternoon to discover the latest fashion finds. If you’re also heading that way, get your glad rags on and look out for me and my camera 🙂

Fiona Jane

I’m very much enjoying Fiona Jane’s urban getup. Don’t you? She looked uber cool when I spotted her browsing Broadway Market at the weekend. I love how she’s combined her casual baseball jacket and trainers with a glam hair do and sunnies. Fiona is a blogger and stylist- check out her fashion blog Spotding for fashion finds, interviews and a whole host more. She wears Acne trousers, Nike trainers, hoodie from Topshop, jacket by American College, bag from Portobello Market and sunglasses from H&M.

Landy

I’ve bumped into Landy twice now, and each time she looks darn fantastic. For this outfit she’s added cute little touches with her socks and sandals, vintage camera case and striped skirt. She wears coat and cardigan from ASOS, vintage skirt from Brick Lane, shirt from Emmaus charity shop in France, shoes by Lotta from Stockholm, socks from Topshop, bag from Copenhagen and a Casio watch. Check out her blog Urban Gazette to see her beautiful street photography.

Here Landy wears Uniqlo jeans and the rest of her outfit is vintage.

Linea

Linea’s minimal Scandinavian style is effortlessly clean, cool and simple. A great outfit for a Saturday stroll around Broadway Market. She wears jacket by Helmut Lang, trousers from H&M, New Balance trainers, a Jil Sander bag, sunglasses from London Fields and her scarf was a gift.

Red & Pink

Should be wrong but is oh so right…

Lea wears jeans from Blitz, shirt from Beyond Retro, cardigan from Brick Lane, scarf from Primark and shoes from Office.

Khris wears jacket by Ragged Priest, hoodie and shirt by Topman, Primark jeans, cap from Urban Outfitters, Casio watch, Nike Blazers and fox tail from a haberdashery off Tottenham Court Road.

Best Suit Ever

I spotted the oh-so-eclectic Shail Upadya outside the Lincoln Centre at New York Fashion Week. The former UN diplomat, turned stylist from Nepal, is well known for his array of brilliantly bonkers suits. You may recognise him from the film ‘Bill Cunningham New York’ in which he was featured for his amazing style. This suit, an homage to John Lennon, is so good it even has matching neon trainers!

Glowing hot scarf, hair and lips in Paris outside the Dior show

Inspired by my lunch time carrot salad, I’ve dedicated a post on the subject of all things orange! Here are some of my favourite looks from Milan and Paris Fashion Week.

Sister sister

Sephora and Ruth certainly know how to stand out while splashing about in the rain. The girls are sunny delights in their matching yellow raincoats, satchels and trainers. It seems to be sibling season as this is the second pair of sisters I’ve seen in the last 2 weeks wearing matching outfits. What a treat! Check out the wonderful Louise and Kay.

The girls wear raincoats from Petite Bateau, bags from the Cambridge Satchel Company and Nike trainers.
