Circles and stripes

Claire is a sculpture student from Brixton. She wears jeans by CBDG, a vintage top, shoes by Trade and round sunglasses from Ebay

Ruben

Ruben Salas is a visual merchandiser from Madrid. This is a perfect example of an uber simple outfit, worn well. He’s looking so slick, you’d think he was wearing head to toe designer. But he’s fooled us all! He wears an ASOS tee, Zara trousers, vintage GH Bass shoes and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Leopard print and vintage

Kathi is a student from from Berlin. She wears a vintage jumper, coat by Topshop, shirt and t-shirt by H&M, vintage bag and vintage shoes.

Edmund & Rebecca

Edmund and Rebecca are such a polished pair that I had to interrupt their Sunday stroll down Brick Lane to get a photo. I particularly love Rebecca’s chic look with her ankle-swinging-monochrome-print trousers, classic white tee and blazer. But the devil is really in the detail here- check out her Mulberry Lily bag and gorgeous velvet slippers. Rebecca’s bound to look great- she’s the womenswear manager at START London.

Rebecca wears a Topshop blazer, vintage t-shirt, Mulberry Lily bag, Topshop trousers, ASOS slippers and Cutler & Gross sunglasses

Bling and bare it on Brick Lane

Ellis’ glam-trash look may not be something your Grandma would approve of, but it certainly makes a statement. Bling, jewels, studs and talons are worn with an I’m-not-shy attitude that only the super brave can pull off. Ellis is a PR from Seven Sisters and wears a jacket by KTZ, top by Topshop, shorts by Bitching & Junk Food, shoes by Jeffrey Campbell, tiger necklace from Hampstead Heath market and a chain necklace and belt from Forever 21

A true gent

Arthur Malan-Murison is the editor of GQ South Africa. He has all the details perfectly covered from his bow tie, to his hanky, down to his red socks. Arthur wears a suit by Naked Ape, shirt by 46664 Nelson Madela Trust, hanky by Naked Ape, bag from Topshop, bow tie by Bow & Tie and cardigan by Ben Sherman

Angharad

Angharad swears a T-shirt from Leeds market, leggings by American Apparel, a friend’s shoes, a pyjama top and a bag and headscarf from Brick Lane.

Chips on Hanbury Street

Ah chips!! What would we do without chips? Lisa was tucking into a hot bag from Poppie’s when I noticed how well the newsprint wrapping suited the mixed prints of her outfit.

Lisa is a hairdresser from Bow Church and wears a t-shirt and bag she found, top from Deptford Market, shorts from Topshop, boots from a charity shop and sunglasses and head scarf which were gifts.

The wonder of….

Chad is a digital designer from Australia, living in Dalston. He’s got some mighty fine facial hair that I just had to honour. As well as his beard, he wears a hat from Brixton, glasses from a thrift store in Australia, t-shirt by ASOS, Dr Denim jeans and shoes by Office.

Hey doll

Melanie from Sweden, is a real life doll with her ringlet curls and big blue eyes. With a face like hers she could pull off studs and chains and still look angelic. She wears leggings by American Apparel, socks and hoodie by H&M, vintage jacket, top by Primark and a necklace by Cubus.
