This weekend saw London’s first ever fashion week (well, 3 days) for men. It was a great success, with collections from designers including Jonathan Saunders to Richard Nicoll and Meadham Kirchhoff. The men were looking oh so dapper and I’ll be posting a whole host of looks from the past few days. But to start us off, here is the dashing David Gandy (hello, fine sir!) outside the Nicole Farhi show. In all honesty, he would look good in a bin liner due to his fine genetic structure. There was a whole host of retro looks on show at Field Day. From 40’s style gingham dresses, to dapper 50’s gents, to 70’s flares, every decade from the 20th century made an appearance.

Field Day was amazing fun this year. There were some great acts, endless cool fashion and smiley, gorgeous people, decorating Victoria Park. Starting with Azi (above) and her American inspired, sports day look. She wears a baseball jacket from Beyond Retro, cycling shorts from ASOS, dress from H&M and Converse trainers.
Lucille is a fashion consultant and styles the band Citizens! She wears jumper by Carven, Uniqlo leggings, vintage boots, jacket by Percival, vintage Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses and a vintage bag.
Tom is the lead singer of the band Citizens! He wears jacket by b store, shirt by Kitsuné, trousers by Gucci and boots by Russell & Bromley.

I met Connor and Melodie as they pedalled through Borough Market on their shiny Boris bikes. I spotted the oh-so-eclectic Shail Upadya outside the Lincoln Centre at New York Fashion Week. The former UN diplomat, turned stylist from Nepal, is well known for his array of brilliantly bonkers suits. You may recognise him from the film ‘Bill Cunningham New York’ in which he was featured for his amazing style. This suit, an homage to John Lennon, is so good it even has matching neon trainers!
Something tells me French quite likes Adidas… His 90’s inspired look is made up of vintage Adidas trackie bottoms, Adidas trainers, hat and bag and jacket from Blitz vintage.
