Oscar winning style

I met Oscar on his Sunday cycle around Brick Lane with his chum. His look is reminiscent of a dashing poetic gent from a BBC period drama. How marvellous! He wears turned up jeans from Topman, a friend’s shirt, his girlfriend’s neck tie and shoes from Absolute Vintage.

Looking shady

Parrots and Peacocks

Lee is the editor of Parrots and Peacocks, a neon-bright men’s fashion blog. Check out Lee’s gif-tastic collages and colourful comment on fashion.

Lee wears a jacket by Ralph Lauren bought on Ebay, Versace shirt bought on Ebay, trousers by Selected Hommes from ASOS, brogues by M&S, socks from H&M, bag by Eastpack, Timex watch and a tea strainer from the kitchen cupboard.

Graeme in Joseph Turvey

Graeme is a junior fashion writer at Drapers. You can’t miss him in this Joseph Turvey combo – a beautiful mix of classic tailoring and eye-catching illustration. Turvey is a London based menswear designer who showcased his MA collection at London Fashion Week’s Menswear Day in February 2012. Check out his website here.

Feeling all white

An all white outfit is certainly a brave choice for a festival. But mud, ketchup and beer didn’t deter artist Terence from wearing his customised vintage outfit with confidence at Lovebox.

Blake and his bike

Blake is the editorial assistant at Industrie Magazine. He wears a vintage jacket, trousers from China, vintage denim shirt and Dr Martens boots.

Close to the bone

My photos had a nice little feature in the Evening Standard yesterday in the piece Close To The Bone. It seems more men are opting to abandon their socks and expose their lovely ankles. On the streets of London the ankle flashing trend has grown in popularity and was particularly prevalent during the London Collections: Men.

Anthony Latouche is one dapper gent. His exposed ankles and jeans combo gives a modern twist to the classic look he wears on his upper half. He wears a jacket from Topman, his Grandad’s hat, hanky made by his sister from Lilymarie Boutique, tie by Hackett, shirt from American Apparel, shoes by Swear London, jeans by Denim Demon and his Grandad’s umbrella.

Alex Badia is the head of men’s fashion at WWD in New York. His thick tread soles and denim shirt add a tough edge to his outfit. He wears a suit by Zegna, shirt by Bruno Cuccinelli, clutch by American Apparel, Marni shoes and sunglasses by Oliver Peoples.

Fast fashion at Goodwood Festival of Speed

Amongst the zooming cars and roaring engines there were some stylish chaps and chapettes at Goodwood Festival of Speed this weekend.  Starting with Hadrien (above), an automobile specialist for Bonhams from Paris. He wears Levis jeans, jacket, cap and scarf by Zara, shirt by Bojji and boots by Manfield.

Amelia wears a Topshop hat, Zara shirt, bag by Miu Miu, jeans by Kate Moss for Topshop, boots by Urban Outfitters, Rolex watch and sunglasses from a market in Brighton.

Jade was the youngest female professional driver at the event. Bravo Jade! She drives a Mazda GT Concept car and is on a young driver program for Murphy Prototypes. Here she is looking uber cool in her driving suit.

Nico looks slicks in his Hugo Boss jacket, Prada jumper, Tom Ford sunglasses, Diesel jeans, Paul Smith shirt and Converse trainers.

Clara from Sweden wears a dress by H&M, jacket by Mits, Converse trainers, bag by Marc Jacobs and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Allard is an artist from Amsterdam. He wears a shirt, trousers and jacket from Zara, socks by Paul Smith, and shoes by Santoni.

Sarah works the preppy look in an H&M blazer, top by M&S, jeans by Adhoc and espadrilles by LK Bennett. She also wears a belt by Cobra, necklace from Burlington Arcade, Marc Jacobs sunglasses and  Jimmy Choo bag

I love Rosemarie’s vintage Regency coat. She teams this with designer jeans and a Gap bag.

Miles and his tattoos

Miles Langford has a pretty impressive collection of body art going on. And the kind fellow was more than happy to strip down to show me his tattoos. Lucky me. The New York based model from London has modelled for designers including McQ, Pringle of Scotland, Katy Eary and Diesel. Click here to read his blog.

When he’s not stripping off, Miles wears trousers by Acne, shoes from Clarks, grey top by Cos, t-shirt by Odd Future, a Lanvin necklace, and army jacket from a thrift store in New York.

Da boyz

Boom! The boys are here. And they take graphic prints, colour and accessorising to a whole new dimension…

Mitsohiro is a buyer from Tokyo. He wears trousers by Astrid Anderson.

Mitsohiro’s customised trainers

Tom is the owner of Joyrich and lives in LA. He wears a Martin Rose top, Gianfranco Ferre sunglasses, trousers by Joyrich, custom made Nike King trainers, hat by Supreme and necklace by Florian
