I yam what I yam

Hollie’s humorous tee + high waisted shorts + piles of jewellery = a winning festival combo. She wears vintage boots, shorts from Rokit, tights by House of Holland, t-shirt by One U, Ray Ban sunglasses, gold necklace from Topshop, cross and ‘I love London’ necklace from Forever 21 and watch by G Shock.

Field Day

Field Day was amazing fun this year. There were some great acts, endless cool fashion and smiley, gorgeous people, decorating Victoria Park.  Starting with Azi (above) and her American inspired, sports day look. She wears a baseball jacket from Beyond Retro, cycling shorts from ASOS, dress from H&M and Converse trainers.

Lucille is a fashion consultant and styles the band Citizens! She wears jumper by Carven, Uniqlo leggings, vintage boots, jacket by Percival, vintage Yves Saint Laurent sunglasses and a vintage bag.

Tom is the lead singer of the band Citizens! He wears jacket by b store, shirt by Kitsuné, trousers by Gucci and boots by Russell & Bromley.

Grace wears top and skirt from H&M, boots from Rome, necklace from Topshop, watch by Chanel and sunglasses from H&M.

Nkesi wears jumper and dress by American Apparel, shirt from Primark, Vans trainers and a bag from Topshop.

Dewy wears coat by CP Company, a vintage cap, jeans from H&M, Quicksilver trainers and vintage sunglasses.

Keep posted over the next few days for more of my favourite looks from the festival.

Shoes with attitude

Feast your eyes on these beauts my friends. Sassy’s Vivienne Westwood shoes are one stonking pair. Part minimal brogue, part Japanese geta, these top off a truly delightful, modern outfit. Sassy also wears skirt and t-shirt from ASOS and socks from Topshop.

Theresa

Theresa has the sort of show stopping look that makes people turn their heads in the street. I love her bold red lips and statement hair style, balanced out with understated basics. Not many people are blessed with the good looks to carry off a shaved head (other than Natalie Portman and err…Britney?) but Theresa does it with ease. She wears a cardigan from Gap, vest from Monki, trousers and belt from Urban Outfitters, bag from Cos, sandals from Topshop and a vintage necklace

More fun in the sun

Anna wears a vintage dress and belt, necklace from Hoss, Minetonka shoes and Ray Ban sunglasses. This light, floaty dress is perfect for summer BBQs and Jubilee picnics.

Al wears t-shirt from Topman, Sebago shoes, vintage trousers and sunglasses. The beard he grew himself and and what a wonderful job he did.

Rikke wears vintage shorts, top from H&M, her Mum’s belt, Converse trainers, hand made necklace, vintage hair band and sunglasses from H&M. I love this playful look.

Yoyo is a pure vision of sunshine! She wears dress from Cos, shoes from Schuh, bag from China and necklace from Topshop.

Brian has a wonderful moustache. I do enjoy a moustache and his one gets a big thumbs up from me. He wears trousers by Dr Denim, Oxford shirt by J Crew, Vans classics and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Tiffany masters daytime chic in this floaty, feather print maxi. She wears skirt from River Island, vest from H&M, sandals from Primark, clutch from Italy and necklace from Marrakech

Sunshine in the city

Pau is a model from Argentina. She wears t-shirt and shorts from Argentina, Dr Martens boots, bracelet from Morocco and Christian Lacroix sunglasses

I met Connor and Melodie as they pedalled through Borough Market on their shiny Boris bikes. Connor wears customized denim jacket from a friend, the t-shirt was a gift from his tatooist, Levis jeans from a charity shop, his flatmates hat and Nike trainers. Melodie wears a vintage top, jeans from American Apparel, shoes from New Look and a vintage bag.

Orsola wears a vintage hat (love this), top from Zara, Lacoste belt, vintage bag and shoes by an independent designer.
Edouard, from Mexico City was enjoying being reunited with the sunshine! He wears Fratelli Rosetti boots, shorts from H&M, vest from American Apparel, bag by April 77, vintage jacket and Ray Ban sunglasses.

Elina wears men’s trousers by Ralph Lauren, vintage belt, t-shirt from H&M, vintage sandals from Greece and Ray Ban sunglasses. I love how these oversized trousers cinched in with a belt are totally transformed on Elina’s petite frame to create a cool, contemporary look.

Sunshine in the city

Daphne wears top by Firetrap, shorts and belt from Topshop, sunglasses from ASOS, shoes from Urban Outfitters, Bags from Zimbabwe and necklace from Topshop.

A mention in The Saturday Times

There’s a nice little mention of me in an article in today’s The Times. It’s about how Broadway Market is currently the most fashionable place in Britain and why style bloggers head there to snap the latest trends. The piece features myself as well as Hannah Bodsworth of the blog nicelyturnedout.com and Phil Taylor of  Taylor-Made.

In this glorious weather, the streets of London will be overflowing with stylish people basking in the sun. So I’ll be sure to head to Broadway Market this afternoon to discover the latest fashion finds. If you’re also heading that way, get your glad rags on and look out for me and my camera 🙂

Fiona Jane

I’m very much enjoying Fiona Jane’s urban getup. Don’t you? She looked uber cool when I spotted her browsing Broadway Market at the weekend. I love how she’s combined her casual baseball jacket and trainers with a glam hair do and sunnies. Fiona is a blogger and stylist- check out her fashion blog Spotding for fashion finds, interviews and a whole host more. She wears Acne trousers, Nike trainers, hoodie from Topshop, jacket by American College, bag from Portobello Market and sunglasses from H&M.
